MEDIA ALERT: DENVER/January 27, 2025 — Morris Animal Foundation announced funding for four new wildlife Fellowship Training grants to provide much needed funding to train the next generation of wildlife health researchers.

January 9, 2025 – Who doesn’t love penguins? With their adorable “tuxedos”, wobbly gait and amazing swimming prowess, penguins are perennial animal favorites. Here at the Foundation, we’ve been interested in keeping these iconic birds’ healthy since funding our first study in 2000.

December 18, 2024 – As we get ready to close out 2024 at the Foundation, our team is gearing up for some exciting new projects in 2025 we’d like to share.

DENVER/December 12, 2024 – Morris Animal Foundation is seeking applications for its esteemed Veterinary Student Scholar program. This program allows veterinary students to engage in mentor-guided research and inspires them to explore fulfilling careers in animal health science.

December 5, 2024 – The end of the year is a good time to reflect on the achievements of the past year. It’s been an exciting one at the Foundation and we wanted to recap a few of the most impactful findings of 2024.

September 19, 2024 – There is mounting evidence that our oceans are getting warmer, and this temperature change is having a major impact on sea turtle health, including shifting the population toward more female turtles than males.

September 5, 2024 – Researchers used extensive data base and state-of-the-art laboratory methods to pinpoint the cause of disease and death in mountain gorillas.
