DENVER/February 1, 2019 – Foundation’s marketing team brings home honors for new website, two e-newsletters and a campaign email

Morris Animal Foundation, a leader in advancing animal health, has received four 2019 AVA Digital Awards, including one Platinum and one Gold winner. AVA Digital Awards are an international competition that recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication.

“It’s critically important for our stakeholders to understand who Morris Animal Foundation is, our work and our commitment to excellence in advancing animal health,” said Morris Animal Foundation President/CEO Tiffany Grunert. “I’m so proud of our marketing team’s efforts to ensure excellence is reflected in all of our communications channels. Winning four AVA Digital Award is validation of their work.”

The Foundation won its Platinum award for the redesign of its website, incorporating the Foundation’s new brand. It’s more consistent from page to page, easier to navigate and mobile-friendly. The Foundation partnered with Denver-based development services company Elevated Third.

The Foundation’s e-newsletter, Fresh Scoop, intended for “veterinarians & other smart people” to learn about Foundation-funded research findings, received the Gold Award. The newsletter has a visually appealing layout, features vibrant brand colors and includes a monthly podcast.

The Foundation claimed honorable mentions for its other new e-newsletter, AnimalNEWS Tips & Tails, and its National Cat Day email campaign.

The AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, one of the oldest, largest and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry. They judge more than 200 categories that include digital campaigns, audio and video production and social media engagement.
