DENVER/July 19, 2023 – Morris Animal Foundation is hosting a virtual walk on National Dog Day, Aug. 26, to raise funds that will give dogs a heathier future, one step at a time.

The one-mile walk is free and can be completed any time in August, in any location. Participants can walk with their dogs, family, friends or solo. The goal of the walk is to raise money for canine health studies. Donations made through Aug. 31 will be doubled up to $75,000 thanks to a matching gift from The Golden Retriever Foundation®.

To participate, sign up here. After completing registration, participants can then set up a Virtual Walk page to share with friends and family. Please encourage others to support the walk by donating, sharing information on social media or setting up their own Virtual Walk page. Participants who receive or make one donation to their Virtual Walk page will get an exclusive Morris Animal Foundation bandana for themselves or their dog to wear on the walk.
