DENVER/April 14, 2022 – Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit leader in the advancement of animal health, announces its President and CEO, Tiffany Grunert, has been recognized as a 2022 Colorado Titan 100. This will be Grunert’s second year as a Colorado Titan 100

“It is an honor to be selected as a Titan 100 for the second time,” said Grunert. “In my first year, I had the opportunity to learn and grow as a leader through the Titan 100 program. The program has been so valuable in supporting leaders during some of the most challenging times and I look forward to continuing with new leaders as well.”

Grunert said the last two years, particularly around COVID-19 challenges, have required evolving organizations and leadership styles. The Titan 100 honor reflects being able to make those changes with the support of forward-thinking colleagues and a proactive, resilient organization.

Grunert is responsible for the 74-year-old nonprofit, with a $90 million endowment, $16 million annual budget and over 50 staff members. Since taking the helm in 2018, she has driven culture change and increased employee morale and reduced turnover by 30%, creating a high-achieving organization recognized as one of the Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in 2020 and one of the top 50 The NonProfit Times Best Nonprofits To Work For in 2022.

Under her leadership, the Foundation has increased earned revenue, enabling it to improve animal health through partnerships and new programs, as well as expand research opportunities for animal health scientists globally. In 2021, the Foundation launched a new Donor-Inspired Studies program that connected donors with a passion for animal health to research projects in typically underfunded areas, resulting in an almost tripling of research calls for proposals.

“These passionate and driven Titans of industry exemplify the true definition of leadership. We honor them for their unwavering commitment to building their businesses, shaping our communities, and making Colorado a better place to work and live.” said Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO.

Grunert will be honored at the Titan 100 Awards celebration on June 2, 2022, at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum located in Denver, Colorado.
