Examining the Fecal Microbiome in Golden Retrievers

Researchers are analyzing the fecal microbiomes of 22 golden retrievers as a first step in establishing the methodology for further studies of the canine microbiome. Results from this nested pilot study will help inform further studies using fecal samples from the Golden Retriever Lifetime study cohort, and will add to the growing body of data on the canine fecal microbiome.
