Betty White Ludden

Betty White Ludden, President Emeritus, served as a Morris Animal Foundation Trustee from 1971-2013, as Canine Division Vice President from 1973-1982, and as President from 1982-1985. She sponsored more than 30 animal health studies to improve the health of cats, dogs, horses and multiple species of wildlife, including California sea otters and mountain gorillas. In 2010, Betty established the Betty White Wildlife Fund in response to the Deepwater Horizon Oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and its detrimental effects on marine life. The fund today continues to address current and emerging wildlife health issues.

Betty passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, just a few weeks before her 100th birthday. She will always be remembered for her humanity, wit and advocacy for animals everywhere.
