Sunny SuperDog 2012 - 2024

We lost a dog from an automobile crash. While searching for her,  we found Sunny.  I believe Sunny was sent to us to heal our grieving hearts.  Sunny was a campground host; hiking partner;  best pal and protector of her favorite person, Sher.  She was a doggy companion and comforter of Pj and KC.  Every night after dinner she would put on her "after dinner show".  We thought she was thanking us for dinner.  She would stuff as many of her favorite toys in her mouth as she could, then shake her head while growling.. stopping periodically to see if we were still watching her.  She was a delight.. a fountain of unconditional love and light in our lives.  She patiently let us treat her eyes 6x/day when she developed pigmentary uveitis at 8 years old.  She lost her battle with malignant mast cell tumor at 12 years old.  We will always cherish her memories and miss  her friendship and silliness.  I hope we will meet up with her and all of our pets who have passed when our work is done here on earth.
