Forever in our hearts
When people ask me why I get so emotional when I hear "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, it's because of Romeo. His favorite activities were either going out in the yard and playing frisbee and getting a stick, or laying either with me or ontop of me in some fashion.
This terrible cancer struck when he was 10 (10/2023) , and he was gone in hours of him showing first signs. One day out in the yard playing fetch, the next day in the ER barely able to move, and I'm being told that he had more blood in his abdomen than in his veins.
Me and and his brother Mojo are still here, slowly learning that life is ok.
