Porsha
Forever in our hearts
Porsha was born March 15, 1995. Porsha was special in so many ways. She waited to hear " I'll be back, Porsha; I'll be back." She would greet me when I returned home with a spirit of gladness.
Porsha loved to take car rides especially to Petsmart. Porsha was beautiful.. I tried to groom Porsha and she never lost her patience with me even though it took me forever to get it done.
Porsha was NOT a pickey dog when it came to eating. Even giving her medicine was easy. My other animals would eat the food and spit out the pill But not Porsha, she'd happily swallow it with a little peanut butter or cheese.
Porsha had a sweet bark/howl where she would put her nose high up in the air and echo a tune that was uniquely hers.
Porsha had her own room to sleep in because the other dogs had packed up on her one day. Before closing the door, I would always tell her, "Nighty, Night Porsha" "I love you." "See you in the morning." I'd close the door hoping she would be okay alone. Every morning she'd be stretched out on her bed sound asleep. I had to drag her out of bed so she could go potty before I went to work.
. Porsha died Monday, February 2, 2004 between 9:30 and 10:15 pm. I told my exchange student from Korea to not feed her what he was cooking. He did anyway! Hot rice swelled in her throat and she choke to death. She died a horrible death alone in her room! Porsha's death still upsets me. I sent the student packing. I could not forgive him!
