Little Girl
Forever in our hearts
This is Little Girl. She was abandoned and lived at the KMart store for awhile. My cousin rescued her and she lived at the neighbor's until the neighbor passed away. Then she moved to my cousin's house.
Little Girl was a pistol! She loved to play with me! I was her favorite person. She was traumatized from being abandoned and homeless. It took a long time for her to feel safe and loved. She made friends with me first. She watched for me to come and visit and she would meet me at the door and lead me to the bedroom. When I sat on the bed she would get in my lap and kiss me. It was quite an honor because she was so skittish.
Little Girl had liver cancer and by the time it was diagnosed, there was nothing that could be done. It was heartbreaking! She will always be my Little Girl!
