Lili and Raleigh
Forever in our hearts
Lili (foreground) was rescued in Jan. 2005 at 1 yr of age; of the many, many dogs in my lifetime, she was the one who most held my heart. I lost her Sept 10, 2015 to severe heart issues (common to the Doberman breed) after having beaten cancer 4 years earlier. Raleigh (background, natural ears) was her baby; the sweetest dog ever born. I lost Raleigh to Subcutaneous Melanoma just days ago, Sept. 1, 2016. He was my "Giant White Marshmallow" who brought joy, gentle love to all having the pleasure of knowing him. He was a tender-hearted soul, good brother to the small dogs, devoted friend to me, always only a fingertip away, within eyesight just in case ...Always happy, he was famous for his constant low moans of pure pleasure and satisfaction with life. Now they have been reunited, mother and son, and their absence leaves the most enormous empty space here on Earth. I am so grateful for the gift of having had them in my life; truly, truly, they changed me and taught me what really matters. I love you, my magical Unicorns.
