Koko Rance
Two weeks ago (3/17/24), we said farewell to our dear, beloved companion and family member, Koko. She came to us as a tiny kitten nineteen years ago and very quickly became a very special, integral, and beloved member of our family. From a very early age, she proved to be an extremely feisty, strong-willed and wise cat. She knew what she wanted and worked very hard to achieve her wishes until the very end. Her greatest gifts to all of us was her ability to understand our needs and her strong desire to be our companion and caretaker, especially of my deceased husband, Mark. They were nearly inseparable until the end. Then for the next four years, she cared for me until it was no longer possible for her to do so. Her strong will, sweet temperament and strong spirit left a deep impression on all of us. She will never be forgotten by those who have interacted with her, especially by her family. To her veterinarians and their staff, she also became a special patient because of her sweet and cooperative nature, as though she always understood why and what she was there for each and every time that she visited. Peace be with you, my sweet and gentle companion. We do and will miss you terribly but you will always occupy a very special place in our hearts, especially mine and Mark's.
