Forever in our hearts
My true-blue friend was always at my side nudging my leg for a pet. He liked being with me and likewise. We walked through the drive through at Farmer Boys one time to get something to eat. It was when we went on an adventure to the tire store. He liked going on adventures. He would get this very happy look on his face and jump with joy and excitement. He rode in the back seat with his body protruding through the seats at my right shoulder. He liked watching where we were going but he was never a back-seat driver. He liked sticking his face out the window too and letting the wind blow in his face. All the extra smells must have been great for him.
I’ll miss his happy face and wagging tail when I get home from work. He always greeted me with a nudge on my leg and I returned the greeting scratching his ear and cheek. I am at a loss now not seeing him in the morning, knowing that I will not seeing him and his kind and happy look on his face when I get home. I liked being his doggie daddy. We had a deep connection, a bond, a true friendship. He will always be my pal, in my thoughts and at my side until we meet again……
