Ella

Ella was a special gift that we didn't know we needed. We rescued her from German Shepherd Rescue not knowing how much joy, happiness, companionship, challenge and love this full of life energetic little shepherd pup would bring us. She brought joy to EVERYONE who would meet her. During her 12 years she saw us through times of change, loss, grief, adventure, happiness, acceptance of new family members, all with that adorable smile on her face. Once someone said to me "Wow, she just gets you. You are like best friends." That was so true. We were connected by love on an amazing level.This stoic girl gave us no sign that she was sick until one day an X-ray showed her chest cavity riddled with cancer. I will NEVER forget this amazing dog and cannot be any more grateful for the time we got to spend with her. She is truly our guarding angel.
