Dayton
Never Forgotten
Golden Retriever Lifetime Study Hero Dog #2796
Cancer claimed Dayton at just 9 years, but in that time he managed to introduce me to dog sports like Barn Hunt and Flyball; he accumulated over 250 therapy dog visits to nursing homes, libraries and schools, and he was one of the 3000 dogs enrolled in the MAF Golden Retriever Lifetime study. Dayton was neither my first Golden nor my last, but he is not forgotten. Goodbye Hero Dayton, THDX FDCH RATO CGC TKN DSA and GRLS #2796 - there are many humans here who miss you.
Always happy
Loved people
Not forgotten
Remembering and honoring you every day, in many different ways
The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
