Butt

Butt went on his new adventure 2 years catbehind his womb brother of 15 years, Mooshie, and me, his human. We knew Grand Mama was there to take him in her loving arms when it was time for him to go. The following months were a living hell for Mooshie. He had never been without Butt from their time in the womb followed by 15 years. I could never let Mooshie see me upset over the loss of our incredibly loved Butt. Between running  to the vet and the health food store for anything to help Mooshie get through his depression, I  purchased assorted cat music, cameras  around the house so I coul   talk to him while at work, an infere   bed beside  the existing heated beds we alread  had. At one point I had to force feed him. Whatever it took, whateve  the cost, I did it. We were aware when our Butt came back to visit. It did make a difference with Mooshie. Moosh finall  pulled  through  as best as he could. Currently, at 17 years old, I am so blessed everyday he is still with me. The months  after our Butt leaving  were so focused on Mooshie that I did not have my time to grieve. Now, my grief has no end.   I cry extensively when I am on the Sphynx lair website. I see all the babies  and find myself  wishing mine were babies again. I can still see them in my mind's eye, the two of them running down the steps the day I brought them home from the breeder. They were all ears! Butt was incredibly smart and curious. He would try to mimmick my words  by watching  my mouth so intently. I knew in his next life he would come back as a human. Butt, we miss and love you beyond words. Your are in our hearts, souls and memories for ever. Thank you for choosing to spend your life with us!
