Bailey

Bailey was the sweetest, gentlest dog I have ever known. When he was six years old he lost his right rear leg to bone cancer. I was so worried he would have a hard time getting around, but he adjusted beautifully. We live on a farm and he ran all over the place. He loved our cats and loved sleeping with them , cuddled in front of the fireplace. A repairman who had to come to the house several times said he always looked forward to seeing Bailey. He said he would love to put a tool belt on him and take him with him on jobs. Our family loved Bailey and will never forget him. He died at age 11 of another cancer. Golden Retrievers have too much cancer these days, and I hope there will be a cure found before long.
