Aragorn

Never Forgotten

Aragorn was a handsome Birman who lived to be 20 years old with good medical attention.  He was a very smart and loving guy.  He liked to play peek-a-boo, and in his younger years, he would jump from the kitchen floor to the sink and then to the top of the cabinets - and wouldn't  come down! He loved to get between the pillows in our bed and just curl up.  He wanted roasted turkey breast despite his prescription food.  He lived with a decrepit pancreas, gall bladder stones, a heart murmur, and advancing kidney failure.  Up until his death, as weak as he was, he still used the kitty litter...He knew he was greatly loved....He wanted to be in our bed just before he died..Seizures got the best of him.  On the way to emergency, he uttered a final "mee-u" softly.  He was gone...

Aragorn was in the hospital Christmas Day for a few nights.  He passed over the Rainbow Bridge on New Year's  Day, 2023.  The holidays will never be the same.  He left a great hole in our hearts. We were privileged to have had him for so long.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
