To the first dog I ever fell in love with - a big golden retriever named Chelsea - whose biggest enjoyment in life was fetching endless sticks out of the water. She passed from cancer about 25 years ago, and I still think of her often and am grateful that she was the one who taught me what it means to have unconditional love.
