DENVER/July 19, 2023 – Morris Animal Foundation, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine, is excited to announce the addition of Jonathan Jachimiec to its Board of Trustees. Jachimiec, a global financial executive, brings a wealth of knowledge to the board gained from various industries.

Jonathan’s extensive background will allow him to share keen business and financial insights as we continue our mission to advance the health of animals through science.”

Jachimiec's professional experience spans multiple sectors, including software, pharmaceuticals and food production. In a previous role, he served as Chief Financial Officer for MycoTechnology, Inc., successfully raising more than $250 million in venture capital funding to introduce healthier and more flavorful food ingredients to the market. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer for SSP Innovations Holdings.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jachimiec actively engages with angel investing groups in Denver and New York, providing invaluable support to entrepreneurs seeking capital. He also co-founded a real estate group in Chicago as well as Molly Brown Spirits, a renowned enterprise based in Denver. He resides in Broomfield, Colorado, with his wife, Jen, their two children, and their beloved 10-year-old Shiba Inu, Penny.
