Denver/June 14, 2023 –  Morris Animal Foundation, in partnership with TEDxMileHigh, recently hosted a webinar to shed light on hemangiosarcoma – one of the deadliest forms of cancer in dogs. The aim of the event was to educate pet parents about this devastating disease.

During the webinar, Dr. Kelly Diehl, Senior Director of Science Communication at the Foundation, spoke with Dr. Antonella Borgatti, Professor of Oncology at the University of Minnesota. They discussed the clinical signs of hemangiosarcoma and available treatment options, and shared new research findings that potentially could improve the odds for dogs suffering from this cancer.

"Hemangiosarcoma poses significant challenges, but with ongoing research and collaborative efforts, we can make a difference in the lives of affected dogs and their families,” Diehl said.
