Guidelines for Sponsorship

Thank you for considering becoming a sponsor for one of the many Morris Animal Foundation studies. At any given time, the Foundation is managing about 300 humane health and welfare studies and about 30 veterinary student scholar projects throughout the world. The Create a Cause fundraising page gives you the opportunity to involve friends and family in raising the $3,000 minimum needed to fund one of these studies. We have established some important guidelines for the sponsorship of studies via the Create a Cause pages:

• You must notify Morris Animal Foundation of the study you have selected to sponsor. Please fill out the study sponsorship form and a member of our staff will contact you within 3-5 business days.
  The study you have selected to sponsor must be an active study. Our development staff can assist you with your selection.
• There is a $3,000 minimum fundraising goal to sponsor a study.
• The $3,000 must be raised within six months; one six-month extension is available upon request.
• Should you not reach the sponsorship level within a year, the money will go to the general animal health fund that is used to fund all our health and welfare studies, including the one you have selected for sponsorship.
