Dr. R. Scott Larsen earned his DVM and a master's degree in epidemiology from Colorado State University. He is an assistant professor in captive and free-ranging wildlife at the University of California-Davis. He also serves on the Elephant Tuberculosis Working Group committee and the National Tuberculosis Working Group for Zoo and Wildlife Species committee.
