Surviving the recent “Great Recession"
On a recent visit to California I met with staff at a successful clinic that has been in business for almost 20 years. I asked the clinic staff how they survived what the practice manager called the recent “Great Recession.”
“Our key to survival was treating every client like they were our very first client,” she said. I was not exactly sure what she meant so I asked her to explain.
She added, “When you have your first clients you treat them like royalty; you go one step beyond, because you don’t know if they will come back again. If you treat all your clients like that, they WILL come back. They will trust you. They will be faithful clients for life.”
