Who let the dogs out? Northern California dog lovers, that’s who!

More than 500 northern California dog lovers rallied to fight canine cancer on Saturday, May 7, for the 3rd annual Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk in Elk Grove, Calif. The event raised more than $60,000 for Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Cancer Campaign. The campaign funds research to prevent, treat and, ultimately, cure cancer in dogs.
Cancer is a cause that touches many of us; that is why this year Morris Animal Foundation debuted a bubble remembrance ceremony for all dogs that have died of cancer. The event also celebrated dogs that have beaten cancer, by gathering all furry best friends and their owners for a joyous survivor ceremony. Participants enjoyed this unique opportunity to honor their best friends. Read more about the event.
