Announcing the 1st ever K9 Cancer Walk in Knoxville

Canine cancer is a disease that touches many of us—that is why Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure. An estimated 50 percent of all dogs will battle cancer. It is the No. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. Morris Animal Foundation’s K9 Cancer Walk Program offers dog lovers an opportunity to celebrate the life of their canine best friend or remember a beloved dog that lost its battle with cancer.

This year we’re bringing the program to your community. We hope you—and your dog—will join us for the 1st ever K9 Cancer Walk in Knoxville! Join us at The Cove at Concord Park on Sunday, September 18. Walk proceeds will help fund canine cancer research to prevent, treat and, ultimately, cure this disease.

Help us make a splash in the Knoxville community. Let’s make our event the most “woofed” about event in town!

Registration is now open! Sign up today, and when you do, why not consider starting a team? Rally your friends and family, and let’s show our furry best friends that we are on a mission to beat canine cancer!

Additional event details, including how to participate in our Sit & Stay program, can be found at

Proud sponsors of this year’s walk include Eukanuba, the Orvis Company, PetSafe, Petplan, Paul Mitchell Schools and John Paul Pet.
