According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a warning to veterinarians about the possibility that phenobarbital tablets produced and labeled as phenobarbital by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals may actually be mislabeled hydrocodone tartrate and acetaminophen tablets.
