DENVER -- Over 600 Colorado dog lovers rallied to fight canine cancer on Sunday, August 21, at the Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk at Denver's beautiful City Park. The walk is part of a national effort to help our best friends live longer, healthier, cancer-free lives. This year, Denver raised more than $40,000!

Cancer is a cause that touches many of our hearts and it continues to be the no. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. Morris Animal Foundation will use proceeds from the walk to fund studies that will help create a healthier tomorrow for your dog and we can't thank you enough!

Top Dog Contest Winners

A special thank you to our volunteers, participants, team captains and sponsors for their commitment to Morris Animal Foundation's K9 Cancer Walk program! With your help, we took a huge "Mile High" step in finding a cure for canine cancer.
