Morris Animal Foundation Prepares to Make K9 Cancer Walk the Most “Woofed” About Event in Town. Foundation Brings National K9 Cancer Walk Program to the San Diego Area.
November 3, 2011
Denver—Join Morris Animal Foundation on Saturday, February 18, for the Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk at Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos, California. The event will benefit the Foundation’s Canine Cancer Campaign, an initiative to fund research to prevent, treat and, ultimately, cure cancer in dogs.
Cancer is a disease that touches many of us—that is why Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure. An estimated 50 percent of all dogs will battle cancer. It is the No. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. All dog lovers are invited to attend and are encouraged to walk to celebrate the life of their canine best friend or walk in memory of dogs that have lost their battle with canine cancer.
Registration is now open. Rally your friends and family, and let’s show our furry best friends that we are on a mission to beat canine cancer. Additional event details, including information about our virtual Sit & Stay option, can be found at www.K9CancerWalk.org.
Vendor and sponsorship information is also available on the event website.
