Knoxville Residents Knock Cancer Out of the Park

KNOXVILLE -- Nearly 600 Knoxville dog lovers joined together on Sunday, September 18, at the Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk at the Cove at Concord Park, in an effort to help their furry best friends live longer, healthier, cancer-free lives. By the end of the day, Morris Animal Foundation raised over $48,000. Cancer is a cause that touches many of our hearts and it continues to be the no. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. Morris Animal Foundation will use proceeds from walk to fund studies that will help create a healthier tomorrow for your dog and we can’t thank you enough! Nearly 32 teams participated in the Top Dogs Contest. We are happy to announce the Top Dogs Contest winners:
